Louisville

Louisville, Kentucky was a nice place to be after spending the last few weeks in bigger cities. It was a nice, small city and we were able to get our steps in. We had so many restaurants around us which means we ate a lot! We also started the Louisville Bourbon Tour. We were given a passport of all the bars in the tour at the visitor's center. After visiting any of the bars on the passport, we would get our passport stamped. And after six stamps, we would get a free Louisville shirt. It was really fun and I totally felt as if I was on a mission.

Lots of the bars on the passport were on Fourth Street. This was a neat downtown area with lots of restaurants and bars which was blocked off from traffic. This was also where we met up with two Hotdoggers from a few classes before us (Alex and Steve). They were on their way to a music festival when they saw Ro-Shell parked outside our hotel and decided to leave us a note on the windshield. We had a blast talking to them about their adventures on and off the road. They were very interesting folks.

Louisville also marked our first radio interview. It was super short but it was a great experience. Shout out to The Max for having us over.

It was so hot while we were in Louisville, so we decided to spend our off day at a small water park in New Albany, Indiana. It was nice to finally spend sometime in the sun even though we got super sunburned.

FYI, if you are ever in Louisville, make sure to visit The Brown Hotel for their famous "Hot Brown Sandwich". That is most certainly the best way to spend over $25.
