I'm back and better than ever. My life has changed so much since my last post and I couldn't be happier! I have started working as a Peanutter or Brand Ambassador for Planters. In a NUTshell, I travel the United States in a giant peanut on wheels. There are currently three NUTmobile vehicles on an east to west nut cracking fest and I will be covering the central region for the first six months on the job. Ro-Shell is the central NUTmobile and driving her is NUT-tastic. You might be asking yourself, "how did she get so lucky?" To be honest, I ask myself that every single day when I wear my Peanutter uniform and hop on Ro-Shell to go work.
It would be NUTS to explain everything about my job in my blog (plus you probably do not want to read that much), so I will try my best to catch y'all up on NUTty life.
But first off, I graduated!
I am the first person in my family to graduate from a University and I am very happy that I can make my family this proud. Above you can see me placing my stole on both my parents after my graduation ceremony. This is supposed to demonstrate my appreciation for everything they did to help me turn my dream into a reality. Gracias, Mami y Papi.
This is Adrian, everybody! I met Adrian my second semester of college and I am so grateful for him. He quickly became one of my closest college buddies. He was always my go-to person when I needed advice, a lunch buddy or someone to get loud with. There is never a dull moment when you put us together... which was the case during our graduation ceremony. I actually want to send a shout-out to Adrian's parents for giving him the last name Alvarado. That meant that he was only a seat away from my during the everlasting commencement ceremony. I am sure I would have taken a nap had he not been around. Congrats, Adrian! Love and miss you bud.
Lori! Long story short: Lori and I met in Kindergarten (I think) and we have been good friends ever since even though she abandoned our friend group in high school to go to Weslaco. It's okay, we forgive you. Lori and I reconnected again in college thanks to Mel (my best friend, whom has a blog entry dedicated to her. If you haven't read it you should.) and we graduated together. She is an amazing, fun-loving individual. I am so happy to continue being part of her life. Love you!
Kiara Kalinda is also featured in this picture. She is hanging out in Lori's tummy and will bless the world with her presence in a few days. I am beyond excited and a little bitter that I won't get to meet her until November. I think I like her even more because her name is very similar to mine, if I am being honest. I even ask Lori to send me tummy pics every couple of weeks. Can't wait to meet you, Kiara. <3
