Peanut Prep is during the first two weeks on the job. It is essentially the time we receive so much information that we fear we won't remember when we actually go off on our own. It was definitely a crazy time. We work 90 hour days for almost two weeks straight and only have one off day; therefore, I do not have many pics on my Nikon. During Peanut Prep (or Hotdog High for the Hotdoggers) we had some long, boring days of policies, rules, procedures, etc. We also had super fun days like the one pictured in this post. Thanks to Bethel Horizons Camp and Retreat Center in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, all 21 Peanutters and Hotdoggers completed many bonding and teamwork activities that would be very relevant in the year to come.
In the picture above, you can see me being a total badass and using no hands as I walked on this log that was hung 30 feet in the air.
Above: the Peans and Wiens play a new version of freeze tag that was introduced to us by Bethel Horizons coordinator, Sue. By the way, Sue said we were her favorite class of Peanutters and Hotdoggers. She also took a picture with us and said she has never done that before.
Above: Here I am being my graceful self (not) as I descend from the ropes course.
Below: PeConner (AKA Ner) definitely descends the ropes course better than me.
