These are the new Valley Metro buses. My second semester of college I would ride one of these one hour each day to get to and from school. I would have to be up early to catch the bus even though my classes started hours later. Sometimes I would just wait for no reason because my bus route would unexpectedly cancel due to lack of drivers. It was such a pain to look for a ride to school. Thankfully, I only rode the bus for about nine months before I bought my cute little car with my own money. It was awesome feeling like I did not have to depend on the bus; however, it is a great opportunity for many students who do not have a ride to school. As a matter of fact, it is a great way to save gas money and ride for free to different parts of the Valley whether you are a student or not.
