Joan

Joan Eduardo Aldape is a very peculiar child. At the young age of nine, he has the extraordinary ability to, sometimes, makes me want to pull my hair out. He can be quite a handful. He is the type of kid who does what he is told not to do with a sinister grin on his face. Honestly, Joan makes you want to tell him the opposite of what you mean so he can unknowingly do exactly what you want. Nonetheless, I love him so much. He can be very smart with things that grab his attention and he notices things that sometimes even my dad misses. He is great at observing and wanting to know how stuff works; perhaps he will make a great engineer some day. Joan likes when I chose him to keep secrets for me no matter how insignificant they might be, he loves when I call him "Lalo" since I am the only one to call him that when I'm being sweet to him. He also, secretly, adores his twin sister, Joana. They argue a lot and she can be very bossy with him but he still does as she says and follows her around everywhere. Seeing them interact is very interesting to say the least. After taking the picture above a few days ago, I realized Joan loves modeling. I am definitely having fun taking plenty of pictures of him and he never hesitates to strike a pose.
